Mzansi celebs fluffing their Feathers

The queer community of Joburg, rolled out the pink carpet in fabulous style at the 11th annual Feathers festival last night.

It was a celebration of colour and fun at 1 Fox street, with local media personalities awarded for their contribution to the LGBTIQ+ community.

Big winners of the night included Lootlove who bagged the award for best styled individual, Rich Mnisi for the Hunk of the year and Krayzie K as the hottest chick of 2019.

Among big winners of the night were:

Best Rainbow Parenting– Felicia Leqela (Lumko Johnson’s mother)

Diva Extraordinaire of the Year– Bonnie Mbuli 

Social Media Personality of the Year– Dr Sindi Van Zyl 

Cutest couple– Dineo and Solo Langa 

Drama Queen – Bujy & Nandos

But the fashion, food, drinks and good music continue this weekend as the event has evolved into a three day rendezvous.

Tonight is declared Jozi Vogue nigt and will host a unique and exciting fashion show by one of Mzansi’s hottest young designers Ora who collaborated with Thami on the ‘Dare to be Queer’ range.

The main concert, also to be held at 1 Fox tomorrow, will feature the legendary Boom Shaka, Kelly Khumalo, KB, Tamara Dey and  Busiswa.
