Research shows that 440 000 small businesses closed in the past five years while the number of new business start-ups was at an all-time low.

This shows that small businesses are not supported enough and yet they play an enormous role in the creation of jobs.

Last year Y-age, a youth entrepreneurship development programme, was launched. Y-age looks at practical ways to stimulate and sustain the culture of entrepreneurship.
