RUSSELL Domingo says he has not considered whether his appointment as the Proteas' T20 coach means he is being groomed to be Gary Kirsten's replacement.
Domingo was the first coach of colour to be assigned to a senior national team when he was made head coach for the three-match series against the touring New Zealand team this week. But he says he hasn't thought much about the long-term implications of his appointment.
"I was fully focused on being the Proteas assistant coach and I'm fully focused on still being the assistant coach and doing these games as the head coach," he says
