All's well that ends well for Manchester City barring the ball
LONDON - Manchester City turned to the police to regain the ball used in their Premier League title-clinching victory over QPR.
As City supporters spilled onto the Eastlands pitch to celebrate their team's 3-2 triumph on the final day of the season, a young fan made off with the ball.
But City officials identified the 17-year-old picking up the ball on CCTV footage and reported the matter to the police who then arrested the youth.
Shortly after his arrest the youngster was "de-arrested" when City opted not to press charges and instead arranged to meet him to ask for their ball back.
