THE suspension of Zimbabwean international players on match- fixing allegations will not extend to their professional careers with PSL clubs.
Several SA-based players are among 82 members of the Zimbabwe national team blacklisted earlier this week for their alleged involvement in a match-fixing Asiagate scandal.
The players include Mamelodi Sundowns' Nyasha Mushekwi, and Kaizer Chiefs' Thomas Sweswe. Zimbabwe Football Association has allowed them to play their teams. The Ethics Committee will announce the findings of its internal inquiry in March.
