So where to after Simunye grooves?

Remember the days when being a TV presenter was everyone's dream job?

Kedebone Mkhabela... sigh. Thank heavens she finally realised that red crocheted stockings are worn only when parading on Oxford Road after 9pm

How Shwashwi agonised over the possibilities!

That's before moi discovered the social scene, of course.

We look back at former Simunye One Time presenters and where they are today.

Angela Ludek went behind the mic at GoodHope FM, became a Lovelife ambassador and she's now on Radio 2000.

We're so proud of the fact that she's still relevant.

But why are you hiding behind microphones when you could give us a reason to pay our TV licence fees?

Brian Ndevu... shame, remember when SABC3 escorted him out of their offices some years back?

Where was my camera?

Anyways, MultiChoice dried his tears and he did some behind-the-scenes work there.

That's before Top TV snapped him up; the offer must've been good.

He seemed stable until one fateful day in 2010 when he and Dicksy Ngqula flew into a road rage and turned some poor guy into a punching bag in Randburg.

Of course they ended up behind bars and got a tongue-lashing from the magistrate.

Where did that case end up? And how does it look on your CV Brian? Tjo.

Rowan Cloete is a man with a colourful life.

He played the yummy Jonny in Isidingo and was also in Egoli and the Coconuts.

He's married to actress, model and presenter Kim Cloete.

Together they co-own Long Island TV and luxury self-catering apartments in the leafy suburbs of Jozi.

Can you imagine what their kids look like with their DNA combined?

Do they have kids?

Claire Mawisa famously rejected a Playboy SA cover, much to the dismay of many pervs.

She produces a syndicated radio show hosted by Randall Abrahams.

Tjo, why him of all people?

She co-founded Code Teen, an initiative that facilitates life skills workshops with teen girls and she does MC & TV work. A smile from you is all we need, hun.

Lalla Hiyarama. Now there's a chick who refuses to ditch presenting.

She hosts V-Entertainement on Vuzu TV. And she's done a host of other gigs, such as the AXE Sweet Life; she's been a red carpet reporter for the Channel O Music Video Awards.

Oh, not forgetting Tropika Island of Treasure.

And she's pouted and posed in next to nothing for the FHM magazine.

Think she'll go the Playboy route?

Kedebone Mkhabela... sigh.

Thank heavens she finally realised that red crocheted stockings are worn only when parading on Oxford Road after 9pm.

Moving on. After a dramatic exit from SABC1 - remember she and some co-workers were demanding a raise for appearing on screen for a mere two minutes plastered in make-up and borrowed clothes? Ja nee.

Anyway, she then tried her hand at music, calling her three-member group Tyte.

Of course it didn't go far.

Then she went behind the mic on Ligwalagwala FM. And next she was on a mission to become the "Miss Mpumalanga CEO".

Big up girl - you're not afraid to try new things.
