if you are scutinizing his english then it would be more appropriate to say 'blacks are foolish', but allow the man some poetic license...

Dude, i'm with you, it's just the title that people rushed to see and judged, I bet half of the political leaders that commented on this didn't even listen to this song.

Dude, keep on doing what you do, I don't remember you telling any of these political leaders what to do.

Your song is true and we as black people need to stop being defensive about the crap thats happening around. I know the title is controversial, but at least he got our attention, now we just need to listen to the lyrics and see that he is right.

Since when is Slikour is a representative for blacks. Bloody arse saying racial comments and stereotypes that are totally absurd and very damaging to things that people and Nelson Mandela, Oliver Tambo and Peter Mokabas and all other South African heroes fought for. Get yourself some education!! LOOSER WITH INFERIORITY COMPLEX!!! and go and live where there is no Black people. YOU ALIEN. I don't even like your lousy music. Wish you could fall flat on your face and another race will support your music.

He is a biggest fool ever and an idiot, its these sort of people that make other races to disregard us and see us as fools and dirt. After we fought so hard&still fighting to be treated as humans and as equal and then he comes with this bullshit.

He's Not even ashamed of this title,I wonder what did his parents think of him after he called them fools. He is very stupid...message or no message on the song, those words are bullshit.

Silkour mfana no offence but nawe when you say blacks are fools it means you’re are too. Not every black person is a fool, if you are a fool and the lyrics are best describing you and some black people then thanks for letting us know. In future remember not to insult innocent black people who are working their butts of to be where they are today.
As for the rest of the black people who agree with the lyrics well…I guess they just wanna be fresh, and they wanna be cool like you….

Truth hurts.Thank you Silkour.
We are fools, definitely! Especially when we got paid we have this *thing *of being arrogant lookdown on other ppl when we broke we go back to normality.
“give them a little money” and they think they rule” give them company laptops and smart phones etc then u got them. To all those who think that Slikour is saying hurtful words, read the making of a slave by Willy Lynch (“But it is NECESSARY THAT YOUR SLAVES TRUST AND DEPEND ON US. THEY MUST LOVE, RESPECT AND TRUST ONLY US. Gentlemen, these kits are your keys to control. Use them. Have your wives and children use them, never miss an opportunity”) and he talks abt us NI*ROS that’s what he called us. Isn’t that more hurtful than what Silkour is singing?
is BEE the only way to be something? Once again who is the main investor???

Do you know why blacks are fools?Because unlike other races they oppress and ridicule one another by writing degrading "truth" songs about how much of a fool they are.How can we expect to be respected by other races when we dont even respect ourselves. This song was uncalled for,not everything that YOU think about should be publically displayed, especially not on a national scale.White people are patting themselves on the back, amused by how black people turn on eachother,Thank you Slikour, you are a hypocrit of note, were you not the one shouting down Steve Hofmeyers throat not so long ago?INDEED,YOU ARE A BLACK FOOL

Truth is, our politicians may actually not be aware of the conversations that are going on amongst young black people out there.
What Slikour is talking about is a sure reality and something that we need to address. Mind you, it's not just in South Africa but in many other African countries.
I think it is time we dealt with reality as opposed to denying it and chastising those that chose to speak out. But then again, it is typical of us blacks to sweep issues under our (now Persian hand woven rugs) and carry on and hope that they will sort themselves out.
Man up. This is our Africa and no one will fix it for us but ourselves.
And it starts with a conversation - which Slikour has undoubtedly started. Now stop threatening and let's get fixing!
Yerrrrr!

He is just mad/angry because the majority of this country(the black mass) is not supporting local artists/musicians.
1.It is not our fault that international music is all in our faces and ears at all times
2. South African artists complain about us not buying their music but maybe if they produce QUALITY music with an african feel, then MAYBE we will support them. Afrikaans, Gospel and Traditional/Cultural music sells very well and the reason for that I believe is that it is TRUE and many people can relate to it. Unlike hio-hop artists who rap like American artists talking about girls, money and popping bottles in the club. My point is that the urban artist in S.A are selling us fake dreams because in reality, the fancy cars that they drive in music videos are not owned by them.
3. You have to understand that the past systems(colonialism and apartheid) have crippled black people for over 100 years, it will take +- another 100 years for black people not to try to be like white people. The reason why black people are money driven is because they want to live the 'good life' that the minority(the white mass) are living, and even so the older black generation are also influencing the young black generation to be money driven. 95% of the youth in our country want to be rich, they don't have goals or ambitions, they just want to be rich.

Slikor should have considered other aspects of this song. Writing and recording a song about why black people are fools really PISSES me off because it is not like we(black people) come from a well phased backgrounds. We have been crippled by past systems, we still see/look at white people as the 'good ones,' we are being sold fake dreams by our OWN musicians and celebrities, we are being taught that money is EVERTHING and we are not told/taught to have ambition and goals in life.

I really HATE this song because I feel that it was written out of anger and a lot that I have mentioned above was not considered.

I am a proudly black man, so this song is trying to help us blacks to improve on our weakness and so if we are threatening this young boy who is helping our people with his lyrics what do we want. I also wanted to help other people by notifiefying our community with such things but i didn't know how but fortunate enough this boy did it for me. thank you boy, thank you. Do not be scared boy your saviour is watching you...
