Nonhle meets her match
SULTRY TV personality Nonhle Thema never ceases to amaze.
One day she's apologising for her ugly Twitter rants, but before you know it she's at it again, hammer and tongs.
This time hip-hop music producer Sefako Moloto, also known as Sean Pages, is on the receiving end of her rants.
On Tuesday Thema, a former Channel O video-jockey (VJ), posted an attacking tweet on Pages's social-network page, accusing him of sub-tweeting her.
This after Pages tweeted: "I-Twitter yenza abantu bazizwe amandla yong." (Twitter makes people feel powerful).
Thema's response didn't sit well with Pages, who said: "Not everything is about you."
Pages added: "When you (sic) single at 30 and you're a couple of rappers' jump-off (side chick)of course you'll go bipolar."
Thema then posted: "I will f**k you up."
Pages then said: "All you say is boom I'm rich you broke, you have been singing the same song for 3 years, a perfect example of a woman with no substance."
When asked for comment, Pages sent an SMS saying: "Nonhle keeps dissing local rappers, saying they are broke, but Les and Lagosh f***ed her and she was chasing Tido late last year, but Tido rejected her.
"And she's busy f***ing Lil' Wayne lookalike (Young Nucho). She's been mad for 2 day."
When called for comment, Thema neither denied nor confirmed the Twitter insults.
She said: "Yazi yini bhut'wam angizingeni (You know what, my brother, I won't entertain this)."
It's not the first time Thema has been in a verbal spat with a local celeb. Last year she started a battle with now former SABC1 Live music show presenter Minnie Dlamini on Twitter, which was said to have been triggered by a fight between them.
On the social network, Dlamini claimed Thema hit her in the face at a Joburg nightclub.
This came before she fought on Twitter with YFM DJs, saying she was rich enough to buy the station and accused the station and its DJs of being broke.
"I got more money than u ever dreamed off (sic) . I'm young and rich girl. YFM DJ pees are struggling to pay rent. sit down or I will give you a loan. All the YFM DJs I can double your salaries. I can buy YFM. so sit down," Thema tweeted.
YFM DJ Dineo Ranaka retaliated, accusing Thema of selling her body to make money.
