MIGUEL: KALEIDOSCOPE DREAM

IN the same league as Frank Ocean, this new generation artist is changing the face of soul.

Like his debut album, this unconventional R&B offering brims with buzzing synthesizers, heavy melodies and psychedelic grooves.

Miguel's music is an acquired taste, but listen to it and you'll soon be hooked.

.

FISTAZ MIXWELL: MIXWELL ADDICTIV, THE HOUSE FIX

ONE track that stands out on this jazzy compilation is Hade Mabebeza with Vaalslow on vocals - a catchy dance tune that's already receiving extensive airplay and rave reviews.

Then there's Desire by Sugar House featuring Marieke Meijer.

Take this CD along to keep you company on the long road.

.

EUPHONIK: FOR THE LOVE OF HOUSE TOTAL BLACKOUT

EUPHONIK has again raised the house genre bar by making gospel music fashionable.

The inspiringHallelujah by Candi Staton featuring Larse Vocal, for instance, transcends religious boundaries and makes you wanna get down and praise God.

Favourites include Get Lifted,Love is You and Jack Knife.

.

BRANDY: TWO ELEVEN

NO matter how often I listen to Brandy's latest offering, I just can't develop a liking for it. The forgettable music lacks the maturity you'd expect from her.

This compilation is better than her other albums - with a few tolerable ballads such as Without You and Wish Your Love Away - though it's still a far cry from her exquisite debut album.
