While some of you were thinking about where you were going to get your next meal from this month, Shwashwi and sidekicks were partying up a storm with the who’s who of Mzansi.
Taboo will never be the same again. If you think ANC rallies are packed, you’ve seen nothing.
Last week Friday Zizi Kodwa threw the mother of all parties for his 40th birthday. This guy is the best party host in town.
The entertainment was competing with the bubbly. There were more than 10 DJs – too many to name.
Click here to see pictures of those who graced Zizi’s 40th birthday party
And there was the usual mix, from real diamonds to fakes, celebs, fans and those who only sleep rich.
Talking about sleep, platinum digger Khanyi Mbau looked hotter than every woman there and was her usual flamboyant self, posing next to her black Lamborghini and walking alongside somebody else’s husband.
Only kidding – Theunis Crous was nowhere to be found.
Mbau stole the show.
Julius aka Ju Ju Baby Malema was there too. This guy is getting bigger. Can someone introduce him to some weight loss programme before this situation gets out of hand?
Still, love your Gucci numbers, Ju Ju.
I hope the Generations actors weren’t shooting the next day – there won’t be an episode.
Did Zizi drop off invites at their office or there is a relationship?
We all know he and Sonia Sedibe are close friends, but the other crew? I was shocked.
Still on Mrs Sedibe, she was in high spirits – maybe because her hubby Leslie was nowhere near her.
Turns out Sonia is a nice girl after all. But, hun, you and Lineo wore the same dress. Are you friends? Talk about fans looking up to their favourite celebs.
Paul Mashatile was hiding in a dark corner.
Damn! Moi wanted to drool over this handsome one.
I wish looks were contagious. I’d ask Ju Ju to stick around with Paul more often.
Irvin Khoza’s frienemy Ace Ncobo partied his worries away.
Ubhuti Fikile Mbalula, who was snazzily dressed, made sure there was law and order around the important ones.
He might not have Mashatile’s looks but he has Ju Ju’s brains.
Another guy who knows how to work it is the handsome Tony Yengeni. Best dressed politician in the country!!
Deputy Defence Minister Thabang Makwetla has the personality of an angel.
They should create a new portfolio and make him minister of nice and polite.
Oskido rocked us but our focus was not on him.
We were shocked that he didn’t bring Tina, as usual, and brought his baby mama instead. I guess life is about options.
TS Records boss TK Nciza and his friends were on cloud nine. Unlike one of the Nkuhlu, brothers who looked lost.
Actress and socialite Sophie Ndaba gave the young girls a run for their money in a short number.
I don’t know why girls like Nambitha Mpumlwana can’t learn from Sophie.
There was entertainment galore but I would like to take this opportunity and thank DJ Siyanda for rocking the crowd.
I heard T-bo Touch was livid that Siyanda was playing hip pop too. Touch, darling, when you are talented you can play anything and be good at it.
Where was DJ Fistaz?
H I’m tired of Lerato Kganyago and her lies. Next time you talk about Shwashwi to that Renee...
Now I understand why FHM declined to put you on the cover and told you you are just a township girl.
Can I add something? With a township mentality.
Look out for unknown DJs Leeby, Maguqa, Ali and Ace Wonder.
Zizi, I hear there will be a big party in Cape Town with the president in February. I hope my invite is in the mail.
