Randy grandpa at large - Suga gramps Nchindo knocks ’em up ’n ducks

DIRTY OLD DUDE: Louis Nchindo hits and runs.

Dropped: Thando Hleli (left) say he made her abort

FORMER Debswana Diamond Company MD Louis Goodwill Nchindo (69) is accused of impregnating two local girls and dumping them like hot potatoes.

Nchindo, a Botswana national who is also facing criminal charges in his home country, is accused by the two young beauties of breaking his promises to care for them after they told him they were pregnant.

He met both of them when they were teenagers.

Nchindo was once close friends with former Botswana president Festus Mogae. He’s also credited with paving current president Ian Khama’s way to the presidency.

Here in South Africa the popular tycoon, who lives in Sandton, is friends with top businesspeople and politicians.

His two young thangs, who were oblivious to the fact that he was a married man with kids older than them, didn’t mind having sex with him without using condoms.

Today they’re nursing broken hearts.

Thando Hleli (20) of Soweto, was introduced to Nchindo by a friend three years ago and they immediately hit it off.

After being spoilt with expensive brands such as Louis Vuitton and Gucci clothing, bags bought at Sandton City and cash gifts of up to R10,000 and being wined and dined at expensive restaurants in Sandton and Nelson Mandela Square, Thando thought she was in heaven.

But the pregnancy changed all that. Suddenly the bling and the fake relationship she had with a man who is also a grandfather turned sour.

Thando claims that in June last year Nchindo booked her and a friend a flight to visit him in Cape Town – her first time in the Mother City.

Sugar daddy Nchindo continued to spoil her in Cape Town by booking them at the Table Bay Hotel, a five-star spot frequented by the rich and famous, where rooms range from R3,000 to R6,100 a night.

“When we arrived in Cape Town, he told me to abort the unborn child. I thought he loved me. He told me he couldn’t have a child with me because he’s a married man.

“I didn’t know he was married until he told me the bad news. I was reluctant to abort my baby but he told me he wasn’t going to book us a flight back to Joburg if I didn’t agree.

“I agreed and after that he left me. I can’t even get hold of him on the phone,” says Thando.

Another mistress of the randy madala, Jabu Sithole from Ekurhuleni, who claims to be an orphan, has also been battling to get hold of her Nchindo.

She told Sunday World she is giving birth to Nchindo’s child next month.

Nchindo had been giving her R1,500 a month allowance, but when she broke the good news that 2010 was bringing them a bambino, Nchindo changed like a chameleon.

Jabu’s aunt, Thembi Sithole, is fuming and insists her niece’s unknown boyfriend should meet the family and accept responsibility. In Zulu culture, says Thembi, the boyfriend has to accept the responsibility of paternity and then pay a fine of four cows.

“That boyfriend is supposed to come and accept that he impregnated my niece. We also have to go to KwaHlabisa (northern KwaZulu-Natal) and inform the elders that they are going to be grandparents,” says Sithole.

But neither Jabu nor Thando’s relatives know that the man who allegedly impregnated their daughter and niece is even older than them. Both families will learn only today that the man who ruined the lives of their loved ones is married to 66-year-old Andrea Nchindo.

Nchindo turned 69 on November 30. He has four children, two boys and two girls, who live in Botswana. One of his sons, Louis Garvas Nchindo (38) is a prominent businessman in Botswana.

Thando’s mom says: “I want to sue this man for damages. He has ruined my daughter’s life.”

Thando and Jabu were afraid to tell their parents they were romantically involved with a pensioner. Sadly, both girls say Nchindo insisted on not using a condom, and the money and bling clouded their judgment.

Sunday World contacted Nchindo for comment on Friday and left a voice message and a text message on his mobile phone, but he didn’t return calls.

His spokesman said Nchindo was not reachable, adding that the tycoon is in Russia on business for at least six months.

Yeah, right!
