MUST getting an MBA affect your health and family?
Strive to obtain an MBA without damaging relationships. Consider the following when selecting a business school at which to study:
Ask the institution about the options available. Is there a flexible course that allows deadline changes to accommodate family issues and life changes?
Does the school understand the pressures on your family?
Is there a sense of respect for you as a student? and in conversations with it? If you are treated like a number or sense arrogance and dismissiveness now, when they are recruiting you, how do you think they will they react when life gets tough?
Is the school solid? Huge stress can come from experiencing a poorly run school and gaining a less-than-credible MBA. - Jon Foster-Pedley, dean of Henley Business School
